Update from the Norton Neighbourhood Policing Team

Dear Residents, 

We are continuing to target criminals, illegal drivers, those involved in violence and 

anti-social behaviour in the Norton area.

What’s been happening

The local officers have been carrying out extra patrols around Mary Stevens Park during the summer holidays and targeting any anti-social behaviour. Is great to see the park so busy with families and dog walkers all enjoying the nice weather we are still having.           

There have been a couple of vehicles stolen recently 

Oakleigh Road overnight on 20-07-26

The Broadway on 29-07-26 This was spotted by officers who managed to stop the vehicle and detain the suspects 

If you have noticed any suspicious vehicle in your road or that appear to have been abandoned, please let us know so we can do some checks on them.

We regularly hold police surgeries and drop-in sessions for you to come along and get advice on crime prevention, protecting your homes or cars etc
